Bon festival - Jappan

  Japanese Buddhist tradition called "Bon" festival, everyone goes through it to his hometown, to visit the graves and cleaned, a revival of the spirits of the dead.


  The celebration dates of the festival vary from one region to another, due to the different Japanese lunar calendar to AD, during the reign of the Emperor "Meiji", became so there are three dates for the festival, which is celebrating its last for three days.
Some areas celebrates festival "Bonn", according to the calendar, "AD" in the middle of July, such as Tokyo, Yokohama and Tohoku, and this is what is called Shichigatsu Bon, and there are so-called "Hachigatsu Bon" which is prevailing in Japan, and will be in accordance with the lunar timing in mid-August . 


 The third time to celebrate the festival, "Bonn", called "Kyu Bon" or "old Bonn," which is determined according to the lunar timing, but unseasoned changes from year to year.
It is the most important characteristic of this festival, it is held in the streets of Japan, or open places, and spread through the festivities, stalls selling Japanese pizza, Alookonumiaka with Yakitori and Altakhuyaga.

On the last night she received candles or lamps in the river, believing that it restores ancestral spirits to death again, where it is believed that during the festival to attend the lives of the dead, to visit their loved ones, then the spirits back to death on the last day.
